How to delete Google search history of your android devices?
Google, the giant search engine has recently updated its search app to enhance user experience in more than one ways. After this update, the search app started keeping your search history in the form of screenshots. As you open the Google search app, you will see a clock-like icon placed on the bottom right corner; clicking on which you can see screenshot history of your searches in the past days. You can even search histories of particular days by swiping right.
Want your histories removed?
While some people find the feature useful in getting back to their searched history, some others think of it as a privacy invasion. People who don’t want their histories saved don’t need to worry, as they have a fix to this. You can simply delete the stored screenshot or disable the feature to protect your privacy.
What’s the way to remove histories?
Once you tap on the clock like symbol placed in the bottom right corner, you will be able to see the search history of last seven days. Now swipe up each search and delete all screenshots. You also have the option to disable this feature to avoid the need to delete screenshots every now and then.
What’s the way to disable search histories?
Disable the search history saving option by going to the main screen and clicking on the three horizontal lines located on the top left corner of your device’s screen. Here is the main menu, and you need to go the Settings and then Accounts & Privacy option. On this screen, you can simply turn off the currently enabled option for disabling the search histories.
